The 6-Light Rope Suspension Chandelier from Solae Design hangs a wide, shallow ring of six pleated fabric shades from a twisted-rope brass suspension. At 33.5 inches across but only 11.8 inches deep, the proportions are the genuinely useful part — it fills a ceiling visually without eating into headroom the way a taller, multi-tier design inevitably does in an ordinary domestic room.

That makes it one of the few chandeliers of this scale that genuinely suits a room with standard eight or nine foot ceilings, where a deeper design would feel oppressive overhead. The rope detail gives the brass some texture and stops the piece reading as strictly formal, so it sits comfortably in a relaxed coastal or country scheme as well as a dressier, more traditional one.

Pleated shades with fine trim soften the output into an even, low glow rather than a bright disc. It works over a round dining table, at the centre of a bedroom, or in a living room that needs one anchoring fixture. The three-segment suspension rod fine-tunes the drop and the fixture is rated for sloped ceilings. Available in black or brass.
