The 6-Light Brass Sputnik Linen Chandelier from Solae Design sends six arms out from a single brass node at staggered angles, each one capped with a crisp linen drum shade. The effect is structural without being cold: the metalwork gives the fixture its energy and the fabric softens what it throws. It is a mid-century silhouette drawn with contemporary restraint, and it reads as sculpture even before it is switched on.

Because the shades sit at different heights, light layers through the room rather than flattening it. You get overlapping pools of warm illumination instead of one bright disc on the ceiling, which fills an open-plan space far more evenly than a single central fixture can.
